LINEAR STANDBY BELTS
Linear Standby Belts (LSB) is a New Zealand based brand supplying specialised accessories to professional make-up artists working on-set in the film industry, television and other related creative industries.
Before meeting BagMe, LSB had their production split between China & Vietnam and all goods were delivered to New Zealand where the team at LSB sourced the packaging and did the packing themselves locally.
BagMe is now taking care of the entire collection of LSB products and we are working with Georgia to develop her products while increasing the functionality and quality and we have also worked with our suppliers to create some nice header-cards and packaging solutions.
For anyone working in the make-up industry, hair design or other related creative industries, we recommend visiting the LSB website at www.linearbelts.com
BOgear
BOgear had been making bags and accessories in Australia for over eight years and the Subbie was the first pack Dave decided to make in Asia. The idea of the Subbie was to offer potential clients a high quality sub $100 backpack...
Dave joined Luke in Asia to see how things worked and to oversee his production and you can see by the smile on his face that he was enjoying the experience.
What came after this project was somehow unexpected. As some of BOgear's clients grew, there was increasing pressure to produce higher volumes and to achieve more competitive pricing. Eventually this led to a partnership between BOgear and BagMe with Dave being in Australia dealing directly with clients, while Luke spends most of his time in Asia taking care of development and production working directly with suppliers and factories.
Although we are two independent companies, we work together to share the workload and provide a seamless service to clients in Australia and beyond.
You can check out Dave's website at www.bogear.com.au

TechShot Cricket
BagMe was first introduced to this project in February 2017 through our Australian business partner BOgear. and by the end of August 2017 the first production of the product had been delivered. We are constantly working with the creator of TechShot - Will Prowse - to develop his products, packaging, improve production quality and are also working with WooJin buckles to make custom made plastic parts for his products.
Tiger Tailor
Based in France, Tiger Tailor designs and organises the production of tactical equipment for clients throughout Europe.
Although we are not doing ongoing development and production with Tiger Tailor, the owner of the company, Robert Smagala, was impressed enough with our work to leave us with an interesting testimonial which can be viewed here and has vowed to reach out to BagMe again when he has new and fitting projects requiring Asian manufacturing.

Pre-BagMe
Following is brief example of some the work Luke had been doing in the 17 years prior to establishing BagMe.
SALEWA 2012-2016 (pre-BagMe)
In 2012 Oberalp Deutschland were looking for an experienced product developer and manager to work with and oversee the existing small and relatively inexperienced Salewa backpack team. With a new logo to be launched for Summer 2015, there was a huge task to re-develop the core range of products and introduce and more coherent design language based on a “light & strong” concept which encompassed Salewa‘s 80 year history in the mountains. It was Luke who took on this challenge...
